Biggins Hunting Service
The Biggins Hunting Service is a family owned operation located in Gregory, SD, which has been in the commercial hunting business since 1982. Not your typical hunting service; they are more a relaxing yet exciting vacation! Gregg Biggins offers the most important things for a good business: Location, Location, and Location. Wild bird hunting at its best!
This owner operated service offers first class professional attitude with delicious meals, spacious lodging, with a perfect blend of family hospitality and genuine concern for the quality of your hunt. Biggins Hunting Service is considered to be the "best overall value of any nationally advertised pheasant hunting service."
Package Details:
Daily rate for a 2 to 5 day pheasant hunt............................... $650.00
This is our most common hunt. It does include full day wild bird hunt
A 24 hour period of time for one person including:
Not included: Sales tax (.05%), License, Shells, Gratuity
The Biggins Deluxe Package Hunt: ............................ $880.00 per day
This includes everything in the above hunt plus all of your shells that you will need for trap house clay, quail and pheasant, all licenses necessary for quail and pheasant, also increased bag limit. This hunt will entitle you to 6 pheasants per day, with an unlimited number of quail (No Limit!). This package package will allow you to hunt all day, or at least as much as you want to hunt! It it all inclusive. All you have to do is arrive!
The regular South Dakota pheasant hunting season runs from the third Saturday in October till December 30. The daily limit is three cock pheasants and possession limit is fifteen. The hunting during this period is mostly on non-preserve land for the natural wild ringneck pheasants.
I also do own and operate controlled shooting areas that are licensed by the South dakota Game Fish and Parks Commision. We can hunt pheasant and quail from September 1 to April 1 on our designated shooting areas. Because of our location in South Central South Dakota even the controlled shooting areas for pheasants are predominantly wild birds. Our main reason for controlled area is to extend our season and increase bag limit.
South Dakota License Fee:
A down payment of $600 per person, in advance will hold your reservation. The sooner we receive your down payment, the better chance you have of getting the days you want. We also do encourage you to arrive the day before your hunt so we can introduce you to your lodging, get your licenses, and have your evening meal.

- Cleaning, freezing and packaging your game.

- Meals are full course gourmet and home cooked. Wine with all dinners.
- Always available while in the field -- snacks, pops, juices and water.

- Mounted trap throwers for practice. I furnish all the clays.
- 10 station 50 shot Sporting Clays Course. I furnish all the clays.
- The opportunity on the preserve to shoot up to 5 cocks a person per day.
- Mixed bag hunt in Sept. (pheasant/dove) No extra charge.

- Non-resident license fee not in controlled shooting area for pheasant and dove - $110.00
