Come experience the cackle of the roosters as they explode out of the field into the bright blue sky.  World-class pheasant hunting during the anneal Rooster Rush in South Dakota.  As of September, 2010 the Pheasant population has risen 3 percent across the state. 

The Game, Fish and Parks report said that the statewide pheasants per mile (PPM) index increased from 6.26 to 6.45 compared to last year's canvassing of gravel roads.  The 2010 survey places South Dakota's pheasant population at 13 percent above the 10 year average.

Sporting Clays


Cedar Shore offers Sporting clays from 13 stations with each station representing one type of bird or combination of game; a pheasant and rabbit.  Included as part of the pheasant hunting package, this course offers all the senarios you'll need to warm up your shooting eye for an exciting day of Ringneck pheasant hunting.
