I started Hunting Connections in 2001 after hearing time and time again how out of state hunters were spending tons of time planning their next South Dakota hunting trip.  These hunters loved what SD had to offer, but without living in the state, they often turned to phone calls or friend referrals to find the essential elements needed to enjoy their pheasant hunting trip. 

Back then, the Internet was young and I saw an opportunity to make this once difficult task much easier.  I set out to design and develop a website that offers what hunters need: Options. I began creating a hand-sorted directory of great South Dakota outfitters, land and Lodging. 

Today I am on my 4th version of the site and I continue to improve all aspects to ensure that the mission of Hunting Connections is upheld. 

Our Mission:

• To promote South Dakota hunting in a positive manner, build connections between hunters and land owners, and provide the most complete South Dakota hunting resource available online.

Professionally, I work within the online marketing world as Director of Digital Development for Click Rain, Inc. In my position, I am able to work with top companies throughout the state utliize a growing number of online marketing tools as we work to capture new customers online.

I consider myself blessed to be able to blend my knowledge of Internet marketing with my passion for hunting in the ongoing development of Hunting Connections.
